The Long Term Solution includes a confirmed concrete repaving of the Armour Drive underpass  into Armour-Ottley district as well as a storm water drain upgrade. READ MORE DETAILS HERE

We're thankful to Atlanta Department of Transportation's Deputy Commissioner, Allen Smith, and his crew for a site walk on March 8th. From this site walk we identified this first step to resolve a very frustrating and dangerous situation on Armour Drive for business owners, employees and customers of the Armour West district of Piedmont Heights.

THE MARCH 8TH SITE WALK WITH ATLDOT IDENTIFIED MAJOR ISSUES ON ARMOUR DRIVE. Here's what advocacy in action looks like!!

TIRES SAVED FOR NOW: ATLDOT patched the major potholes leading from Armour Drive onto the southbound I-85 ramp.  It's a temporary fix due to that Georgia Department of Transportation owns the ramp and is responsible for it.  Waiting on an update.

BEYOND DANGEROUS!! ONGOING BROKEN DRAIN ON PLASTERS AVE NE that is constantly broken and left open was blocked off the same day by ATLDOT! Thank you to Tom Stokes of Epicity and Merritt Huber of Carolina Lumber for being eyes on the street and joining our walk to express your concerns on behalf of the entire community.
